WebBer Lake

Webber Lake near Truckee, CA is a beautiful lake with camping, fishing and fun for the entire family.

Webber Lake is nestled between Perazzo Meadows and the Jackson Meadow Reservoir. There are many campsites available through reservation with a lake stocked full of Trout.

The lake makes for good fishing, but at times someone is bound to leave empty handed.

The lake has a diverse fish population of rainbows, browns and brook trout. The native fish are augmented by a planting program to assure quality angling with the minimum size about 16 inches going to over 20.

Webber Lake is marked by one of those enticing green signs on the Fiber Board Road west of Highway 89 on the way to Jackson Meadows. The lake is at 6,800 feet in elevation. Fishing is excellent, from green weedy flats to deep relaxing waters.

The recommended fly for use is an olive color, a color most preferred by the trout.

Fly anglers as well as trollers will enjoy the fruits of their labor. Webber Lake has been a sporting destination for more than 100 years.
